Kevin Coker

Kevin and Judith were married in 1981 and have three adult sons and four super grandchildren. They have lived in the Wairarapa most of their working lives and farming is their livelihood.

Kevin is an Elder, a Trustee and a Life Group leader. He is on the Finance Team and for many years was also a leader in the church youth ministry. 

Judith has been involved in children's and youth ministries. She is currently involved in the woman's ministry and helps run the church garage sales.

Rian Slykerman

Rian (Adrianus) was born in 1952 to Dutch immigrants. He is one of eight children and the first of the family to be born in New Zealand. He was raised mostly in Taumaranui where he joined the Post Office as a Trainee Linesman.

He travelled around the country improving his skills and eventually became an Engineering Assistant until his resignation when the Post Office Engineering was being restructured as his children were reluctant to move from their schools and friends in Masterton.

After various career paths in retail, forestry and teaching Rian returned to his first love of networking and technology. For the past 15 years he has owned and operated an aerials and sound systems installation business.

Rian is married to Shirley. Together they have raised five now adult children that they are proud of. They now also have nine fantastic grandchildren. Rian and Shirley are foundation members of The Lighthouse Church. They have seen it grow from humble beginnings in a school hall to where it is now.

Rian is an Elder, Trustee and Life Group leader. He is also on Tech Team and the Missions Team. Shirley coordinates the church Food Bank, is on the Finance Team and in a Life Group with Rian.

Greg Tunnicliffe

Greg and Sophia were married in 1988 and have three adult children. Greg grew up in Carterton but lived and worked for many years in the Manawatu, until 1999 when he and the family moved back to the Wairarapa for career opportunities. As a licensed builder he manages his own building company with a team of builders, while Sophia runs the office.

The Lighthouse Church has been central to their family life since they shifted to Carterton and then Masterton.

Greg has served on the church Building and Property Team for several years. He organises church working bees and regularly 'mans' the sound desk for church services.

Sophia was TLH Administrator 2007-2011 and served many years on the Worship Team. She takes care of Building and Property administration and is involved in the Missions Team.

Lloyd Wilson (Trustee)

Lloyd is married to Anne and has been involved in The Lighthouse since its inception. Before shifting to Masterton in 1985 they had both been involved in ministry with Youth for Christ.

Lloyd has a background of marketing, entrepreneurship and business management.
